Ultimately, the percentage should be going up - indicating that the percentage of times crews are visiting a street once is increasing. The types of services included are: blue bin request, water main breaks, overgrowth, potholes, sewer backups, and trash and debris.
Potholes are unavoidable in Syracuse due to extreme winter weather and aging infrastructure. When crews are notified about a pothole, they fill all other potholes in sight. Unfortunately, potholes on some streets will still develop over the course of the year, and crews are re-deployed to the same street. Ultimately, crews should minimize the times they are responding to potholes on the same street. This map shows where crews have responded more than once.
